VidiCube is a hardware device provided by some Quividi partners, that come preloaded with the Quividi solution, whose aim is to deliver rich granular traffic and engagement metrics in a simple and easy way.
Some points of interest that it can measure are
- sections in store
- store windows
- media that can't host VidiReports on an existing nearby computer, for instance printed posters, ePaper screens, screens running on a SOC (Samsung, LG)
The device is remotely controled by Quividi and is not meant to host other systems like a CMS. Customers see the results in VidiCenter and do not need to take care of the sensor management.
The hardware is composed of:
- A tiny Computer (68x95x30mm) that runs on electricity or can be powered over Ethernet (PoE)
- A tiny USB Full HD video sensor (45x45x50 mm) that has several attachment possibilities and has a 3m wire. Field of view is 100°.
- An external 4G/5G modem to remain independent from the store wifi network

Note that hardware specs can change over time.
