Vidireports include a benchmark tool that can help you find what options your hardware can support.

In order to run it, please follow those steps:


1. Windows installation

After having installed VidiReports:

  • Stop the service:


  • Open the Vidireports directory (by default on Windows: C:\Program Files\VidiReports), then open the folder named after the version:



  • Run the “VidiReportsBenchmark" application:



In operation, the benchmark will run an extensive test - It will usually last a couple of hours, so it's best to let it run at night.


 

One it is done, a text file will be created in the "Documents” directory. Send this file to "help@quividi.com " and we will give you a breakdown of the performances.

2. Linux installation

  • Launch the benchmark using "/opt/vidireports/vrbench" 
  • The results will be located at "~/benchmark.json"
